Gracias. Desde México City
Thank You VERY much for the information about the plugs. My sister has a
2002 Jeep liberty, and i had no clue where the sparkplugs were at. Thanks
to You i discovered where Jeep had the plugs Buried in the heads. Thank You
very much, Jack
Good work. Thanks.
I have a 2010 liberty and I don’t have ignition coils on the passenger
side, I have wires covering the spark plugs. Do I pull and wiggle the wires
out or do I need to loosen any bolts?
Congrats on 100,000 plus views!
Good video you made me laugh but you did show the way to do it correctly!
Keep up the good work
My 2004 Liberty has 245,000 miles on it and I haven’t changed plugs yet.
Suppose it’s about time.
Thanks for the vid. Got mine all changed out. Oh, and I ripped out the
headliner and that plug is a myth. Hope that saves you some time.
A dang good lesson , However I must say that you are full of it..I loved
the video…
Bosh platinums are suppose to be a no no on the 3.7 Jeep told me that ngk
with the copper tip is only plug to use and have to be changes every 30,000
miles.Platinum plugs caused a misfire on mine.
Comment if y’all have had the dreaded p300 codes or 02 sensor failures or
the valve seats fail or the rear suspension fail or the front ball joints
fail.Man I know the Libertys made before 2007 are headaches and will cost
you a fortune after awhile. If non of the above hasn’t happened to you
consider yourself one of the lucky few.
my jeep turns off or at least the engine does when im putting the car from
reverse to drive,or vice versa….any idea wa the problem mite be?
dont know if it will fix your problem, but it sure wont hurt. it could be
many things causing bad fuel economy and engine light. thats the bad thing
about newer vehicles. its hard most of the time to pin point the real
problem, even after doing a scan. i like working on older stuff better
myself, (pre 80s) its easier and simple. so did you have to buy a special
type socket to remove the 02 sensor?
What is the part number for the plugs in the windshield?
brake pads will be the next series of videos i do as well as axle fluid
changes.good luck and let me know how it turns out. dont stress about it.
its just very good insurance is all.
are bocks…….
Thanks for the video. I’m just getting ready to change the plugs on my
wife’s Liberty Sport, and this will be my first for a Jeep. Also – you
forgot to mention that inside of each tire (including the spare) are two
spark plugs. These are a bitch to get to. 🙂
good stuff.
My Haynes manual for this vehicle said do NOT use platinum plugs, I dont
know if its really a big deal but I stick to the book.
i need help video is not working right !!! help sprints my evo not working
Will this video work for a 2004 jeep grand Cherokee? To change my spark
plugs
How do we change those ones in the spare tire? lol
Thanks for the great info. I just bought a 2007 Liberty with 33k on it. New
plugs and transfer case fluid change in just over an hour. Thanks again for
the great video!
with a special wrench only i sale. its on back order though. send $650 cash
to me.
not really sure. i seem to remember something about a switch under the
shifter that can become loose sometimes. have the dealer look at that.
Thanks for this great video. Changed the sparkplugs on my ’04 Liberty
today. It was much easier than I thought it would be and the only part I
had to remove to reach the coilpacks and sparkplugs was the large air
intake hose. I was able to maneuver around the coolant tank with 2
extensions and a swiveling spark plug socket.
Thoroughly enjoyed this, too funny. Very informative, running out to do
mine now. And I found those pesky sparkplugs in the tires 🙂
I really appreciated your humor although I wonder how many folks tried to
change out their lug nuts , etc. , as spark plugs as you suggested …LMAO
Thanks for the help …my friend has a Liberty and now I can help him with
his plug change : )
02 sensors, there are 2 on each side as you said. have yet to do this
myself. have read you need a special socket and pray they are not rusted in
place. i dread that job when it comes time. they are just threaded in place.
dude, i found the plugs in the roof liner, if you need help PM me. ps,
you’re a funny fuck! great video.
good job.
