Did you buy the filter from the dealership?
did it start? seems a lot of cranking waiting for a pressure pump to
deliver and pressurise the system to run.
thanks
Shotty camera work but helpful none the less
I get 20mpg around town with regular and 24mpg around town with premium.
Check your air filter.
Glad it helped. Seeing what to expect helps a lot. Takes away some of the
fear of the unknown.
especially when dealer was saying it is not serviceable. lol
If your friend used regular octane fuel then your car may be seriously
hurt. You would immediately hear engine pinging from improper combustion,
not to mention the damage it can cause to your spark plugs and catalytic
converters. I can only presume your check engine light is on, so what codes
is your ECM showing?
hey thanks for video man, i have a couple questions, when i first bought
the car i was getting around 20 mpg , then all of a sudden it dropped to
12mpg and then slowly rised to 15 mpg , so im currently capped at 15mpg, i
borrowed my car to my cousin right around the time it went from 20 to 12
mpg, im thinking he put regular gas instead of premium, could the regular
gas have cause my filter to get clogged resulting in that drastic lowered
mpg?
Thanks a lot. Just changed one on mine.
that looks entirely too much work and too confusing
actually my engine is running fine, no codes, i figure im gonna chage spark
plugs and fuel filter and if mpg doesnt improve then i have no idea what to
do then, maybe try fuel injector cleaners, gas treatment
If you can change your oil filter then you can change your fuel filter. Not
too hard, just takes time.
This is so cute because of how adorably wrong it is. The Maxima VQ35 will
run completely safely on regular gasoline. Premium gasoline is not
required, only recommended for best performance. “damage it can cause to
your spark plugs” <---- this is the funniest part of all. Honestly I laughed when I read this.
