what would make my doors lock and unlock by themselfs
Hi, Great video. If the lock is broke and you can’t open the door is there a
trick to getting the lock out.
We currently do not have an auto repair video on this particular year Dodge
Durango. You may be able to apply some of the basic steps show in this
video to your application. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
Just did this on my wife’s 2004 Durango. Went perfect and took me 15
minutes and $60 all thanks to this video. You guys are great! Tim D.

the only thing that could make the locks sporadically lock and unlock would
be a faulty wire. It could range from the switch to the fuse panel and all
the way inside the door next to the lock.
what about for the 2000 durango?
You would need to gain access to the inside of the door by removing the
door panel. Once you do that, you can usually reach in and pull the rod
that unlatches the door. There should or may be a metal clip on the inside
of the door that holds the lock in place. Hope this helps you out.
