That is true, not all merc’s have that CDC/Aux option. Sorry I didn’t
record that part but i tried to explain the process and location in the
video. Sucks when you’re doing things by yourself and trying to film at the
same time without proper recording equipment.

Kusuko H says:

But that cable at dealer is 40.00 bucks! But not have in stock so cant
really see it and compare…. Im gona open my car tomorrow and take a
picture of all conector….

Kusuko H says:

I have a 2007 c230 but dont know where to plug it…? You did not record
that? Im looking on ebay “MERCEDES AUX CABLE” is that the same that can fit
anyone? Or just 2009 and newer mercedes…? I called the dealer and said
that not all the mercedes come with that option….

Mark McCuen says:

Awesome! Thanks for the help, this worked like a charm.

Strider G says:

i have a 2006 clk350 and how come my climate control doesn’t have a small
lcd unit like yours.. it just has knobs and buttons – nothing digital ๐Ÿ™
and i even have the appearance pkg

s2000julius says:

Thank you!!!

s2000julius says:

Unfortunately I don’t have the answers for you my friend. It seems we may
have different cars and equipment. Sounds like your vehicle doesnt have an
aux port in the area you mentioned. However, I dont know if it’s standard.

s2000julius says:

Sounds like the problem lies with your phone especially since you went bu
the book for you aux setup. Try changing the set up on you phone or using a
different device to play music/test your setup. if you music is playing
from your phone then it it not recognizing that there is an aux/headphone
jack plugged in.

pagadqs says:

brilliant…me , being not as handy as you obviously are though,I am
keeping my fingers crossed not to brake something badly while trying to put
this together..wish you had made a step by step video ๐Ÿ™ other than that –
BRAVO ๐Ÿ™‚

Jose Luis Lopez A. says:

HI there! can you explain us how to do that..? I mean some kind of guide,
how to adapt the Bluetooth headset to the 3.5mm jack… etc…

FRonTLinES10064 says:

Hey I have an 05 Clk500 as well but it has the Nav and I have the aux as
well but when I plug it in and hook up my phone it doesn’t play music; on
my phone it plays the song but no sound is coming out….can anyone help?

Ben Aninion says:

Thanks. What would the dealer call that cable? iPod cable adaptor or
auxiliary cable adaptor ?

10bombss says:

is there any guide you can make on which wires to tap into? because i have
no idea on which wires are which

Asher Shazad says:

how can Install this in 2006 C230 where do not have aux option only radio,
cd, phone options..need your help

s2000julius says:

Actually I did not record or take picture of that process since it was just
my personal configuration. I imagined you might at least wanna know that
there is an auxiliary option and how to tap into it as pointed out in the
video. You can still buy the wire from the dealership and plug it into the
female connector along the passenger foot panel and mount it int he glove
box.

Hector Alonzo says:

Hello ,Nice video Thanks , I just get a Wireless Stereo Bluetooth Music
Audio Receiver and work great to.

s2000julius says:

Sorry I took so long to respond…So i thought I had provided enough basic
info in my videos, but lets try it this way. there are Bluetooth adapters
out there that are recommended for this kind of set up as well as auxiliary
connectors. I would recommend you buy the auxiliary adapter and a Bluetooth
adapter and connect the two to you mp3 player/phone. In this case i
circumvented both with spare parts i had around the house and a few from
Radio-Shack

Metalunique says:

Eh, way too much trouble! I rather use my bluetooth.

ะ–ะตะฝั ะฃ says:

Dude..you are a genius!

Da FOXX says:

hello, i have a 07 c230 ans i have the cdc on my radio. how can i install
an aux with going to an after market shop to have ig do

tanoli911 says:

EvolutionArtsllc says:

This is an awesome video, but my radio doesn’t have a “CDC” button only
“CD” button. Will this still work? I have the changer, no disc player on
the unit tho. Lastly is the aux connector under the trim on the passenger
side standard? thanks (2003 CLK 500)

Kurt Richards says:

Really good video give thanks king

Ahsan Ali says:

dear how u increase radio frquency my car is 2006 c180 and it has same audi
20 player wid it has radio freqenncy is upto 90 maximum how can i expan it

Ben Aninion says:

Cool! Can you please show the auxiliary wire solder to the car radio main
line? Not sure which wires? Thanks

TheBrian000 says:

you my friend…. ARE A FUCKING GENIOUS!!!

Kurt Richards says:

I’m in Georgia come bless me with hook up

FRonTLinES10064 says:

Plugging in my Android using the aux cable I bought then plug that in my
aux port in the glovebox then I select aux on the COMAND and no sound but
the song is playing on my phone but no sound

Ceoz says:

this is so helpful you can’t imagine

s2000julius says:

Do you have the same vehicle as I do? If you do, look closely in the glove
box, there may be a perforated circle just needing to be pinched out to
make way for the installation of the aux. jack.

s2000julius says:

How did you connect the phone to the auxiliary port?
