u said check the fluid level how do you check the fluid level

Great vid.. I have a 01 D2.. Replaced everything in cooling from hoses to
tstat and radiator.. Temp sensor.. Water pump, fan cultch is fine.. I’m
still running close to 220.. Any suggestions? Should I try that 180 u had
on other vid? Thank you
The manual for my 2002 Disco says the transmission capacity is 10 quarts. I
noticed in your video you mention around 5 quarts. Is there a discrepancy?
Yep! That’s how it’s done. Those are called torx
no not unless you have a series 1 discovery.the series 2 don’t use a
dipstick.the top fill cap is the full level where it should be at

vehicle or was it level? Can I do same with only front raised for better

Unfortunately, there is a notorious issue, beginning with “misfires” in
cylinder 8 – the slipped sleeve. A poor retooling issue was not addressed
after the Gulf War at the Land Rover factories; they continued producing
consumer engines utilizing very worn machinery. By this sleeve’s change,
the result is a large number of engines demonstrating minute exposure of
the coolant to the heated aluminum block. Invariably, water in the coolant
boils and backs up through the cooling system. New. Engine.

the tool is called a oil hand pump.could you be a little more
specific,where is it leaking from?
you probably have a air pocket in the cooling system. do you hear a
waterfall type of noise when inside the cab? try raising the front end,lift
the reservoir out of its socket and rev it up to about 5k and get air out

Try the Motorad 439-180 low temp tstat. It has dropped my temps greatly!
Bleed the system after you change it.
I did not raise it up at all. you can raise it but just make sure you have
it leveled when you are filling the oil back into the pan so you can get an
accurate amount going back in
it’s most likely your transfer case,have you changed the fluid in it yet?if
not i suggest using 80w90 gear oil
The top plug on your oil pan is call the Check plug/hole, you fill it until
it comes out, then run your motor fill it till it comes out. if its not
coming out your low if it is your at a good amount of oil.
u can be serious, is that the only way to put transmission fluid
