The “UP” arrow does not denote air flow direction but actually shows
directionality of the OEM toyota cabin filter since it has the same
configuration? I purchased a microgard cabin filter and there is an arrow,
I inserted the filter pointing down since the air flows from above to the
bottom of the filter. Can someone correct if I am wrong?

I do it once a year but some people change it every 6 months. Depends
really how often and how far you drive.

omg, i should have search for this video,,damn toyota charged me 110$ and
the smell still comes T_T they told me to buy a spray to kill the smell,
and it is just 25K miles..
