8:45 nice! straight into the door. LOL
Where have you bought the steering wheel?
where did you get those door speakers and does this fit S80 pre facelift?
hey, nice video!
Is the upgrade for the head unit mandatory? why is it needed for the new speakers? thanks!
Does the original Premium Sound package came with some extra dampening/isolation inside doors already from factory?… or was it just the head unit + speakers + amplifier? Usually when sound is upgraded, then noise proofing matts are installed inside doors.
Hu803 vs 850?
hey ! thanks for this, looking to do the same thing on my XC70. adding the amp is no problem ? just plug and play ?
Did I miss the dash speaker install? Still wondering how to access it..
Is there a speaker under the grill on the dash board? The one above the air vents? Seen at 0:38. I am doing this to a V70 which has a slightly different set up. Thanks.
What size are the rear deck speakers?
hello bro good video do you have the links of the speakers you bought?
What modell year is the Volvo.
So where can I get a premium speaker set?
Great Video Tutorials Bro!!!! have a question?!?! where did you install the amp?
Quick question as I’m looking to do something similar to my 04 XC. Do you know if the new head unit has to come from the same model year as the car? On the forums I keep reading that not matching the model year can mess up the display in the radio and others seem to have not run into problems. Thanks!
Great tutorial video thanks bro
5:11 There's a small access hole beneath the front door handle, from which you can actually push out the trim piece from behind. No need to pry it out, always ends up a little marred. Also, be careful when taking off a doorcard, the plastic clips holding on the door handle cable are pretty fragile. Lift up the doorcard just high enough to be able to unclip the cable, then pull it off further.
Excellent job!
If you put the masking tape or electrical tape around the rivet, it should prevent marring the door a bit better. The residual rivets will fall into the inner crevice where the water (if any) can drain. If you put masking tape behind the residual rivet, it helps not loosing them down. So you can recover them back not letting them there for the source of unnecessary noise.
Your videos keeps getting better and better my man! Hope you're happy with the upgrade. Keep it up!
