Wouldn't it be easier to leave the connectors connected?
Thank you so much. I know nothing about engines . I know how to put gas in and check the oil. Now I have this 99 vw beetle that has been sitting for 3 yrs. I'm almost there at getting it running again. Thank you again.
My 2008 beetle doesnt look like that. Its a 2008 convertible. Looks like the whole corner panel has to come off but im not sure.
What do you do if taillight refuses to pop off?? I am so frustrated
Are both light bulb sockets the same
Should I disconnect the battery before starting the replacing the tail light, or don't need to? Thx
My tail light went out after hitting a pothole in the freeway. This is so much easier than anticipated since the front lights require so much more to remove.
Thank you! It is a really very helpful tutorial
Just did mine, this video was great help!!

Got my first bug, 2003 and am learning about it. THANKS for your help!
