This is the same starter kit I built in 2021 when I returned to model kit building after a 28 year break.
But this time I’m going to replicate my grandfather’s 1961 Beetle, LHD with Italian registration plates.

I built at least one of these in the mid/late 1960's. IIRC the plastic was green and the packaging was a plastic bag with a cardboard card stapled on the top. This had a hole in it so several could be hung on a display stick.
