*I don’t recommend using a spare tire like I did to lift the rear of the truck. Most people jack up the truck, put jack stands under the body, take off the tires, lower the truck onto the jack stands. Make sure they are high enough so your axles sagged fully. Then use your jack to lower and raise the axle accordingly.*

Here is a quick video of how I leveled my Toyota by 2inches in the rear. Just some home made shackles made with some steel and a drill bit I bought from Home Depot. A lot with two extra 3/4in bolts. This isn’t a how to video, just showing what I did yesterday 👍.

My shackle came out to about 30 degrees and worked perfectly for my setup.

Nice work. I agree with the safety comment on the spare tire. Regarding the shackles, they seem to long to not weld in a cross brace (and possibly even gusset the "H") but you can run it the way you have it until you have access to a welder. What I don't know if the hot-rolled Home Depot stock is the same strength steel as a proper shackle but I'm using mostly hot-rolled on mine as well so I guess we'll both figure it out! The angle looks like it's right at 90 degrees from the datum line so I'm curious on how well it rides.
