PAINT:
Spectral Paints

You will need Primer and Paint(2 aerosol cans), many different kits available.
CLEAR COAT:
SprayMax 2K aerosol clear coat (368 0061)
it’s a 2 step aerosol can, excellent product!
SANDPAPER:
Use P400 first to sand down edges of area, then use P1500 to prep before primer coat.
Pre Painting Prep:
I used Eastwood Pre Painting Prep Aerosol spray, but you can simply use rubbing alcohol if you have no other options.
Once the paint started peeling on our Toyota Sequoia we started noticing how many white vehicles have paint adhesion problems and have paint chipping or peeling off. Toyota has had major problems with Blizzard Pearl Paint (color code 070) and Super White (color code 040).
Today we are going to repair the damaged areas in the most effective, cost friendly way with the best results.
The Toyota models with the most common paint issues are the Toyota Sequoia, Toyota Tundra, Toyota 4runner, Toyota Rav4, Toyota Corolla, Toyota Prius, Toyota Camry and the Toyota Tacoma.

We have Hoda HR-V 2017 white color and paint is falling off!!! My older Toyota Prius ( light blue) 2014 and Scion (black) 2010 have zero paint issues. I've noticed that it is white painted cars that are having these issues. I will never buy white car again.

my dark grey toyota's paint is peeling on the hood really badly. there is a spot on the roof that isn't peeling but isn't doing well. i wanted to paint the roof white so it would be cooling inside, but i also need to repaint the hood.
I don't know why I see cars that are 20 years old or even older and the paint is fine. Why all of a sudden these overpriced car manufacturers don't know how to keep the paint from peeling. It is really ridiculous the amount they charge for cars and this happens.
Hyundai white paint is also notorious for this and some successfully got them to repaint, but I had no such luck. Paint kit, here I come.

Yes but if Hyundai had this would be a recall but nobody ever calls a recall on Toyota

2011 Silver odyssey started doing this, it's almost like the paint is not attached at all, it just lifts up with a finger nail. I am going to have to repaint it.
This problem dates back to 74, seen Datsun b210 pealing by 77, blue, red, and yellow the worst, red turned pink. My 79 Chevrolet caprice, owned by my family since new, pealed 8 months later, my own grey 08 ridgeline pealed 2012.
