+1 to road force balancing. Toyota service department, Kal-tire, neither were able to solve my 50-60 rattle, or they would solve it temporarily before eventually creeping back up.
I took my 5th gen to a proper off-road shop who specializes in Toyota models and does road force balancing – I haven't seen the issue come back since. Not even a blip!

I have owned three 4runners… (1988,2016 and 2024)… I purchased the 2024 ORP because it was the last year of the 5th gen. And IMHO the BEST year! ZERO Recalls, ZERO TSB’s….Toyota has Perfected it by 2024…… I plan on keeping it FOREVER… I am sure it will OUTLAST me…. The ONLY issue I have had was the difficulty in balancing my tires….

@Moon0927 says:

I have 2018 Sr5 never had an issue I do a lot of maintenance myself, these vehicles are beasts, not the nicest inside but the peace of mind is worth it 143,000 miles on it( mostly highway). Can’t complain

@Joemammatype3 says:

Could have left a link to the bearings.

@michaelvalliere8109 says:

Always great video's – Thanks! Love my 2018 but only one Major Problem – cross bar just below AC condensor they have a foam pad that holds moisture – after only 8 years this beam is now totally rusted! not sure where to go to get it fixed / welded. No other rust on rest of the truck. Have you seen this in your runners yet?

@knowbetter56 says:

I'm just happy that I don't drive my vehicle in a rust belt state.
