If you’re using a kit and not removing the clearcoat coat, there’s no point in buying a kit, just buy a good headlight oxidation remover. Plastx is decent.

These kits just add a sealant over your original clearcoat, and eventually the sealant wears off.

Buffing solution using a towel. Lubricant acting as something when it’s pretty much water. This is only for when you are not removing clearcoat and your headlights are not that bad, just cloudy.

How long did it last, before you had to redo it?

@rickbaker475 says:

MEGUIARS PLASTX DOES ALL OF THAT IN ONE STEP WAX ON WAX OFF AND BINGO SHINY CLEAR NEW HEADLIGHTS. IT ONLY TAKES 15 SECONDS PER HEADLIGHT TO CLEAN AND RESTORE. $9.00 PER BOTTLE ONE BOTTLE LAST FOR YEARS.

It definitely looks great. I watched Project Farm compare different headlight restorers, and the Sylvania kit was the best compared to the other brands. I bought it, tried it, and it's amazingly effective.

Total junk. Made it all worse. Had to do it all over with sandpaper, water, and a spray cleat coat.Only way to go.
