I dont know if you will see this since its been three years but would the exhaust "mod" work with the exhaust on a 2007? Its so quiet that I can barely hear when to shift. Thanks!

@autumnjeserich2689 says:

How modifyable are the ECU's? I kinda want to convert to carburetors because they're easier for me to diagnose, tune, and repair especially in a roadside situation.Wondering if its feasable to make the stock ecu act as a standalone ignition controller

@highdesertrambler2342 says:

Never heard it called Uncle Abe, and I always called it Honest Abe. Now I know, lol. But I did it to my 91 Intruder. Put Cobra pipes on my 05 Boulevard, and they are glorious. Get a nice back fire down shifting, and they roar on acceleration. Oh, and de badged it

@JimmyTheKid_98 says:

Definitely getting rid of that exhaust.. bleh

Hi – can the seat from a pre 2010 m50 be used on a post 2010? Or are their after market seats for the post 2010? I jut got a post 2010 and it's seat is much less comfortable than my husbands pre 2010, and looks thinner and like it has a sharp crease in the middle

@gtr0108 says:

What type of steel line of break do you recommend? Like of another bike, v strom? Thank you

@buffalodebill1976 says:

When I bought a similar bike to M800, a brand new Intruder VL800/C800 K9 model (in 2009), it came with those IRC tires. I kept them on till 2011, as for my leisure cruising, they were "fine" (truly a marvellous word to be used here). But then I had them replaced for some dual-tread Dunlops, and oh my, the difference was night and day, especially in cold(-er) weather and rain.

@Velvet-Elvis says:

It seems the M50
Is more or less a slightly changed rebranded Intruder 800?

@Velvet-Elvis says:

Very helpful
I have a 1400 Intruder and 800 both with less than 2K miles currently
I would think much or all applies….your thoughts

@westhemann says:

It's all a huge waste of money. The bike will still be weak.
Sucks, because the bike feels great around town. Where it really lacks is on the highway.
You're better off selling it and buying a used C90. It's just a better bike.

@EricSmith144honda says:

If I Nock the restrictions plates out will they just be banging around in the muffler ?

@Bernies210 says:

so if I just change just the air filter i have to do all that other stuff i just wanna change it cuz its dirty
