I get my vehicle oil-sprayed every year since I bought it new. I also can't understand why more people don't get them oil-sprayed. They cost way too much money to not get them protected from corrosion. I definitely hear you Eric, from Eastern Ontario, Canada.

@TimMarker-n1o says:

Good job massaging that fitting outta there

@scottzink3455 says:

It may have started leaking worse as you had an open vent. This would more than likely allowed air to enter as the oil tried to leave. No check valve.

@Mike44460 says:

Skill, experience, and sometimes just plain dumb luck. No one whoever attempts this vent replacement will ever have it go this smoothly, no one.

@ronwatson4902 says:

Not too bad. I'd say today was your day. Thanks

@Nunurbusin6973 says:

My thought process is it is definitely fixed. The leak started because the vent was initially clogged so when you put your little invention in there, it leaked worse because now it could pull in air to let more leak out. Fixed

@henrygross6583 says:

To oil spray or not to oil spray, that is the question!

@Stevebroekstra says:

I was especially imprezaed with this video, Eric.

@10rcoleman says:

You probably added fluid to it last time it had more fluid to leak lol

@JohnLewis-qg8rz says:

Love the woody woodpecker imitation

@goptools says:

Once the judges get a gander at all the rust underneath they are probably going to ask her to leave. The vent replacement went way too smooth. You might want to consider playing the lottery tonight.

@springfield4522 says:

As luck would have it, the only part of the video you lost due to the SD card was the shot of you checking the rotational force of the nut and setting it to factory specs.

@tomtke7351 says:

I kinda liked your original fix… you'd think a diff would enjoy full venting…

@davidrush8283 says:

Thank you for your time.

@andynicoll8566 says:

How many caught the Woody Woodpecker ref? Lol.

@ralgith says:

I have a 2001 Dodge RAM 1500 that is still around because of oil spraying. The stuff works. Frame still has factory paint.

@chipsawdust5816 says:

Eric do you actually oil spray your cars? What's the name of that product?

@jeffreyevens2033 says:

She takes that car to the show, they may not be interested in that rear end. IJS
