I have the same reading on the panel, (half way to hot reading) I will check the sensor and see what is up with that. Anything else I should check? (1999 sl2) Thanks
My fan only comes on when I turn my AC on. The fans don’t come on automatically. What could that be?
you just saved me a lot of money! side note, weird issue I still have is the radiator fan only turns on when I have the A/C button on with the fan setting at any level except off. I thought using the AC was usually something that adds heat, but weirdly my radiator fan will kick right on when I turn on the AC only, I also tested it with the temp sensor unplugged and the AC button off, and it would not turn on. Then with or without the temp-sensor plugged in, it would only turn on once I turned on the AC.
Im wondering if anyone knows if saturns have some kind of bypass where the AC motor automatically turns on the radiator fan, it would make sense since the AC draws heat and the radiator fan might naturally engage with AC on? Any thoughts? I am pretty sure my temp sensor is bad, but even with it unplugged the AC engages the radiator fan.
It’s only two faster that hold the fan shroud on these cars?
I have a 96 SW2 that I changed the fan motor on, but now it won't start at all. I have tried a couple different "quick starts" to get her goin again but to no avail. Any idea?
