It`s one more detailed video tutorial. Just a few questions… Firstly, it is a bit incorrect to call it as a resistor. It`s an electronic fan speed module. So-called resistors are used on manual climate systems which are a group or resistors you connect the motor via dial knob. But the main is, what`s the criteria for the mentioned seal condition? Do we need to disassemble a plastic frame for that? Also, a silicone would glue the frame to the car`s wall nearly permanently. Is that a good idea? May be a self-adhesive stuff would be better? Some people advised to check this electronic module by disconnecting it from the motor, re-connect it to the harness and take Voltage from the output connectors. It must change with every fan button press up or down. It can be useful before chasing a replacement. BTW… In my car the motor was blown only and this semi-crescent module is good. So, waiting a new motor from UK πŸ™‚

Pain in the backside to do, I just had a 9-3 2010 convertible heater playing up, after heavy rain and a big storm here in England. Worked for a few seconds then stopped, then started again and stopped again. Yes water had got in behind the pollen filter, it wasn't quite seated correctly. Second hand motor from eBay fixed it.
