Thanks, did this today and fixed the cupholder with a pin to hold the spring. Had to fiddle a bit to fix the trim piece back in place. 🙂

Nice during assembly I found it easier to do both the frontcover for the cupholder and cupholder as one piece.
I have a problem removing the first piece, how did you loosen it up?
So I got a funny store for this, my cupholder arm snapped. So I got the thing that actually holds the cup in my lap and the actuator is still where it exists
