►After 30+ years and many road miles, there’s a good chance the bushings in your air-cooled 911’s front control arms are toast. Worn bushings will allow for excessive control arm movement, leaving you with a potentially clunky and slightly vague steering feel. You can replace the bushings by disassembling the control arm in the process, or you can replace them with a brand new arm from Dansk, pre-loaded with fresh bushings.

The control arms are made of painted steel, and when the paint wears away, corrosion begins. Any serious corrosion is grounds for replacement. Luckily, the Dansk control arms are far from expensive and come pre-assembled, saving you time and money.
