How To Fix Porsche Cupholder Rattle – DIY Tutorial for 911, Cayman, & Boxster (997, 987, 991, 981)

Do you have a rattle coming from the cupholder on your Porsche 997, 987, 991, or 981? In this video, I’ll show you how to fix one of the most common cupholder rattle causes on the 911, Cayman, and Boxster. Porsche uses a plastic rod attached to a spring to keep the cupholder spring loaded. However, this plastic rod can break. But fortunately, you can easily repair it yourself using some common tools and household items (product links below):
