Is there a rear main seal replacement kit for the 400 while the engine is in the car?

Hello. I Own a 77 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme with a 350 engine. 5.7 Liter. Which Rear main seal would I need? It is leaking quite a bit while it sits. I see you only have Seals for Pontiac. By any chance do you know where I can find the Rear main seal for my 77 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme?

@jeffmcdonald918 says:

I used your 1 piece seal on my 400 using a scat stoker kit. Serrations didn't cause any leakage. Works just as advertised! Thanks!!

My 1968 Pontiac Firebird with a 400 had a rope Wax Seal…

You should mention the modifications needed to the crank

@ROBCAMARENA-wt1gj says:

I understand HO Pontiac when they were in business had a neoprene rear main seal it was out of a Cadillac I believe it was a 400 not sure of the year but they said that it was reusable and as long as it wasn't damaged you would never need a seal again ever I was less pounds of torque on the rear main seal as a result

@sampson7941 says:

Im gonna need some of your good valve cover gaskets and them reusable intake crossover gaskets and probably more. Thanks for keeping the pontiacs alive

Hi, thank for the video. I have a 1979 Trans Am with 29k original miles. The rear main seal is leaking. Is it possible to change the rear main seal with the engine in the car…or…must I remove the engine to replace the rear main seal. Thank you
