Great video…. again! My experience was way different… noticed many videos of the lights from hell and new that my 2023 S was soon due for a battery. Woke up one Sunday morning and noticed the cranking was slow and strained but still started… no lights. Next day I went into work… same slow strained cranking but started. At lunch I opened the hood and checked battery size (no auto off start like yours) and then I tried starting for shits and giggles and she dead! Again… no lights on dash! Put new Die Hard Gold… started like a champ and has been fine since then! Weird that I did not get lights… just weak cranking? Oh well… she lives!
I have the 2023 Pro4X with auto/start stop so mine completely KO. I replaced with a better Diehard Platinum battery. The stupid Nissan battery got me at a red light stuck.
I'll keep an eye out for this. I drive a '25 with Nissan's battery upgrade. Curious if the larger battery will perform any different. ✌️

Have you thought about removing the TPM .
The start and stop feature might be a contributing factor. You may want to look into a workaround for that annoying little "gremlin" disguised as a fuel saving button…. With all that start and stopping. Plus the thinner oils being used today. You could have different worries down the longevity road…. Only time will tell!
It all comes down to the vvcs that so many modern vehicles have now. The miniscule fuel economy gains aren't worth the damage it does to the battery.
Just had my battery replaced under warranty and was told that there’s a bad lot of batteries installed in the vehicles and is a known issue. I noticed that my truck started having trouble starting (slow cranking) and I would have to drive it about 30 miles to recharge every other day. Finally balked during startup and threw a system failure alert when I took it in. Also had squirrels eat through my rear wiring harness last year, so good job Nissan for the peanut flavored wire insulation!
Charge up a new battery even if it's new. If it's been sitting on the shelf for 3 months it's nearly dead. You lose 1 percent per day. Plus with newer vehicles you will have to reset the computer.
If you connect to the OBD2 port and scan the codes, will it come up as a faulty battery?
Same thing with all the Xmas tree lights happened in my daughter’s ‘20 Rogue a couple of months ago. Freaked me out and then I swapped the battery and good as new.
I do remember reading somewhere a while ago, with today’s vehicles, all the electronics and if you’re adding add-ons like a winch, etc., they say you should consider changing the battery every 3 to 4 years now. Don’t really know how true that is, but it makes me wonder.

Yup.. my 2020 frontier battery lasted for 4 years.
I've been buying the 1 year batteries from Walmart when they have them. Half the price at around $60-$70 and I get 5 years out of them for the past 3 I've gotten in my vehicles. Most batteries are all made by the same company.
My battery is brand new and I have this exact issue. there is more to this than a bad battery if the truck starts then there is plenty of battery for these no load sensors to work. Something don't add up here.
I think the Autostart stop battery is bigger – and I'm on 3 years ( 2023) too and mine has not failed yet – and yes it's been moved more posterior towards the firewall.
Beginning of this year, I went out to my 2025 frontier SV and started it. Every warning light lit up every failure alert in the center screen scroll through. It started up and ran perfectly, and it would go in gear, but I had it towed to the dealership the end result, I had a mouse eat my wiring harness thank God for comprehensive insurance. It was a $6000 repair but I’m impressed how the frontier still enough old school to be able to turn over and run with its main power harness eaten through is the reason why I like these trucks.
my batterie is also going bad its been dragging i was thinking about adding distilled water but i am now thinking i am going to just ditch it.

I had a low voltage issue at bout 2.5k miles (2024 Pro 4x). Long story short, truck wouldn't start, every warning message and cryptic onboard message about system/key fob imaginable was displayed, dealer told me to bring it in. I charged the battery over night, drove in, dealer checked "the electrical system & battery" it all checked fine. I subscribe to the ECM alternator not charging theory (for my situation), dealer said that wasn't it but offered no alternative explanation. No problems now after 12 months — I do need to get a new battery – thanks for the reminder!
Could make a video on how to disconnect the antenna to the computer. Somehow just connect the radio or use an aftermarket antenna for it. This way they get zero information. Who knows maybe create problems for us. I took out the dealer tracking device under the driver's side dash so far.
It seems like a lot of new cars, of all brands, install a rather cheap battery at the factory.
Our 2006 Ford Explorer and 2015 Subaru went about 3 years as well.
There is a volcano of current going through a batter at start up.
I imagine it wipes out a "Lesser Battery" pretty quick .
