2011 Nissan Altima Limp Mode. Replace trans filters and add an external cooler #nissan #altima #cars

Had an issue with going into limp mode on a 2011 Nissan Altima 2.5L when it was driven more than 30 miles and the Temps were over 85 degrees.
I replaced the cartridge transmission filter with Duralast TF246 11$ and the transmission pan filter TF705 22$ and 5.5 quarts of Castrol CVT. I just bought 2 gallons for 64$. I added a B&M cooler 70268, which I had bought years ago for 50$, but they are double that now.

I will post updates here if all this fixed the issue. So far, there are no issues.

Nissan NS-2 is not red

Hi I have a rogue that the trans cooler broke and I am replacing it the one that looks like a small radiator. Do I fill that before installing or just stall and the car will pull it through ???

@danielrd9126 says:

Hello, I have a question, what would the connection direction be like: from the radiator which connection (upper or lower) goes to the extra cooler or what is the direction of the connections, thank you

@abbsgarage.9676 says:

I don't think you supposed to use that type of fluid depending on yhe year but i believe is ND.
