That looks like a 4G94 out of a 2002-2005 Mitsubishi Lancer ES.
Without the back pressure of the exhaust system the exhaust valves would burn up in no time.

The sparks are bits of sparkplug, if you think the valves will die look at top fuel dragster engines, and WW2 airplane engines.

looks likes 4g94, they’re not tunable by any means but they’re good engines. Owned 2 Lancers with them, no issues both driven to near 200k miles and didn’t burn oil or anything. Just simple economy engines.
