My good friend was quoted $3,000 to perform every maintenance item on his 2014 C300 4-Matic from the Mercedes Dealer. This included items like spark plugs, the B Service, a transmission service, and more. I couldn’t let him pay that so I completed it all for $650 and show you how to do the same. What you’re about to see applies to many different Mercedes models. The master list of cars that share use the M276 engine is down below but you just need to know that this applies to you if you have the 722.9 7-speed transmission that came out around 2005 or the M276 engine that came out in 2010 in some areas of the world and 2014 in the United States. The air filters are different on the twin-turbo version of the engine but the spark plug replacement is basically the same procedure on the naturally aspirated and twin-turbo M276. So you could have anything from a C Class to an ML to an S Class and many parts of this video will apply to you.

Can all of this be done with ramps or will the angle affect drainage?
Great video. I have just bought a 2016 E400 4 matic Coupe so the information was relevent. Mine has 106,000 Kms and has good service records. But do you have any advice of when the fluids in the front and rear differencials should be changed?

This car has an extended warranty (20 years) for the subrfame. Free replacement for rusting subframe at your local Mercedes Benz dealership.
This video made me disqualify mercedes benz for my next vehicle. It all feels pretentious. The maintenance is doable but I'd rather start on a Volkswagen and get some experience working on european cars without having to draft another rolling tool box.
Alex need your opinion . Looking at buying 2015 E550 Coupe has 20k mileage . All the M278 horror stories are scaring me away. Is it really that bad of an engine ? It was manufactured in 2014 so I think it’s not the updated one. I was thinking more oil changes and maybe an additive to help the cylinders thanks for your help

Hey brother, I have a quick question so I have a 2009 Mercedes C350 AMG I’m swapping out the motor mounts. Do I have to pull the axles on the car to get to the motor mounts?
Every time you click that torque wrench after the first click is over torquing the fastener. All you you tube mechanics don't know how to use a torque wrench. Insane makes me want to puke. Why bother torquing to a set range when you over torque it.
Nowhere ever does it say click it twice. Engineers have proven this over and over. Glad you idiots only work on cars and not planes. We would throw you out of the hanger doing that crap

I go to my local auto parts store for my F150 and Camry. Brother and Son have Mercedes. Parts ain't easy. Bosch electronics. Good luck.
last year i did my plugs on my 2008 ml350. same time did cabin filter and air filters plus oil change. total job for all was a little over an hour with cleanup. merc likes to use inverted torx sockets

I have the same exact car and I’m fixing to do the transmission fluid change. I’ve been watching your channel for about five years now and I remembered that you had this video so I just re-watched it and it’s going to be very helpful.
The C350 model allows for oil drainage through the dipstick tube located at the top of the engine. This method eliminates the need for draining the oil from the bottom. Instead, a Mercedes dealer vacuums the oil out of the dipstick tube.
4:23 why does everyone put the rotors on backwards thats the other side the spiral affect is for clockwise motion aka "forward" water when it rains for it to sling the water off the rotor and for better heat and gas decipation slings them outwards in a efficent flowing design
