Easier to work on vs simply pulling the cover off and tossing it aside? Nah, but it does make it easier to not have to remember to replace the cover after doing work.
Because the compression oil can leak out of it oxygen sensor ignition coil brake wire spark plugs compression ring use when it go on piston ring when exhaust it cause the oil out of the compression leak in oil pan Mazda engine is not easy to use when driving always remember to push up your gear shifter up down when reverse on drive press the starting button it have warning light meaning it because the heat of engine brake on clutch want oil ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤it use brake light button when want go left press left indicator ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

No they didnt make it easier. If they made it easier that stupid black cover wouldnt be there in the first place.
Personally, I think the cover itself is unnecessary, just more pretty badging from Mazda, just another thing in the way

Had a dealership just steal my cover. So the problem is solved.

why do engines need engine covers when they already have a hood?
