After doing headlights on a c4 I can confirm those are exactly the same. I went with a metal gear and an upgraded cylinder things.

@Oktheorignal says:

I would add damping foam and a magnet somewhere to avoid that light bouncing on the headlight turn off

Grupo Soñador plays after your opened that gear

Na that age rule doesn't apply anymore, the originals got 25 years and the replacements will get about 7 years. Everything is shit nowadays

Thank you for disabling auto dub!

@seanwilkins1184 says:

Can confirm the C4 uses the same ones lol. Had the same thing happen on a 95 c4

Hear is a better solution . Buy aluminum rod cut the rod down to fit 3 dowls that fit and grease them .and put the whole assembly together . The grease and the aluminum dowl s will last longer than any thing

@acefighterpilot says:

Are these as terrible for taller people as I've heard? Thanks.

@randominternetuser2888 says:

Why didn't you grease the bushings? Specifically with something that preserved the plastic and helped lubrication within the housing? The cost of additional lubrication grease would be minimal to keeping the plastic bushings hydrated against becoming dust.

Wow, I've been a mechanic since the 1980's. This reminds me of how we used to repair window motors on Fords. We would take 5/16" fuel line and shove a bolt in the line that fit snug. That was our bushing for the motors. We didn't have replacement bushings.
