That was very helpful. Thank you

@intermaxjimmy says:

Can you please send me the part number? I couldn't find it on Amazon.

@240RadioMaster says:

I had same problem Mine was a bent push rod under the rocker on rhe right side. Turns on that the Kohler engine uses hydrolic lifters was able to remove lifter with a magnet. The lifter was hard as a rock was like having a solid lifter. Soaked it in gas and got the piston in the lifter to start moving using a punch and a hammer where the push rod ocnnects to the lifter. Took bent push rod and stratend back out using a hammer. Turns out the cause was I had changed the oil and had too heavy oil in the engine and it was makining the Lifter solid as a rock and caused it to bend push rod.

Excelente amigo muchas gracias. Me ayudó bastante tu video.

@Edrick2Slow says:

Yo can you send the link to order it ??

@hobiecat901 says:

Thanks. I have had the same problem. My ranger would only run for 10 seconds and quit.

I just replaced the fuel pump on mine but still doing the same thing. I got the hose that goes to the tank in a water bottle full of gas to eliminate the filter and pick up tube in the tank but still won’t run. If I pour fuel in the carb it will start and run till it burns the gas that I pour in but that’s as far as I got. I’m thinking I bought a bad fuel pump.

@jryc5566 says:

Get another plain valve cover and get a briggs and stratton mechanical fuel pump part 808656 . Remove crank case plug and install 90 degree elbow kohler part # 2515502s connector .

@geterdone4888 says:

By pass this thing all together I replaced twice, plug all the nozzle holes an hook your fuel line to a 1-4 psi electric fuel pump ! You could wire it to ignition but I just tossed a separate toggle switch!

@AshkeeBoy says:

How does the two hoses that snap onto the fuel pump ports come off to change the pump?

@someguy4476 says:

Get rid of that pump altogether and get one of those little 12V growling pumps. Like they use for those diesel heaters. @optimumwelding has one on his turbo’d Lincoln Ranger(?)

@backcountryboondockers says:

I use stabil in the tank. Never had a problem with fuel after sitting. Might be a way to prime the pump. Mine came factory with two fuel pumps. Has an electric pump on the bottom by the oil drain

@jryc5566 says:

Check tube and grommet on fuel tank rubber boot on pick up tube gas bad and pick up tube gets corroded and won't pick upck fuel

@polosrt2262 says:

Do you not put anything in that yellow cap on the fuel pump?? My fuel filter isn’t getting full so it’s not getting fuel to start?

@jryc5566 says:

Yeah my eagle 10000 30 hours doesn't like ethanol , it dry rots the diaphragm on It i replaced so many times already I'm on 11 one at $70-$120. Hope lincoln lincoln electric starts making new welding machines with electric fuel pump or change engines from kohler to another brand . Always been a lincoln man but saw my buddies Miller trail blazer omg wiring on it is beefed up not lincolns with thin wires I've had to cut and replace.

@TheNicko773 says:

Dump only ethanol free gas in that machine. I have the same exact one, and had the same fuel problems years ago until I switched to Non-E. Been 5 years now and it's going strong. There is also a safety switch that sticks on mine if you let it sit. Cheers.!

My welder is very similar to that mine is a 10.000 plus it never give me any problems I got it used in 2016 december it had 308 hrs now its close to 1000 hrs I got an owners manual from lincoln for free it said to use the regular gas only its all I use with no problems and sometimes 2 weeks pass without me using it depending on where Im working Id plug in my little inverter welder in the customers 110 power and go to work maybe you should try the regular gas or if you call lincoln with your sereal number they will send a manual its good to have
