Tutorial video on how to change background radio screen on any newer Ford vehicle equipped with Ford SYNC 3. This should apply to any Ford model newer than 2015 – 2016 (Taurus, Focus, Fusion, Flex, Mustang, Fiesta, Escape, Edge, Explorer, Expedition, F-150, F-250, F-350, Bronco).

To change the main display theme you will have to enter hidden diagnostics menu. Turn on the radio and set it to either FM or AM. Then press and hold right SEEK button on the steering wheel and right SEEK button on the dashboard. Speaker test will start. Once it done you will be in the service menu. Select Testing Settings and first option on the top will be the theme selection. Go through the options and select the one that you like.
