Ford 3.5 duratec in Lincoln MKZ water pump replacement, timing chain tensioner pin release

Just got the timing components back in the engine. Timing marks all lined up good, reused the chain as there doesn’t seem to be much stretch and the guides have little wear. Pulling the pin on the timing chain tensioner and setting it all in stone. Next video will be of the car running about a week from now.

What year MKZ is this ? I’m thinking my tensioner needs to be replaced . Sometimes when I’m driving I hear like a chain dragging. Car drives smooth though . Sometimes has a semi rough idle but not consistent. How much am I looking at to get this replaced ?

Do you know if the MKZ timing chain is the same process as the Mazda CX-9?

What year MKZ and were you able to do the water pump replacement with the engine still in the car? Or did you end up pulling the engine from the car like the book says you have to?
