Hey bro, need your help. I bought a Toyota Altezza Gita from a salvage auction. It has a Supra non-turbo engine. Unfortunately, the previous owner stole the ECU and key.
I bought an ECU kit (ECU with the same part number as the dealer told me for my car, plus the key barrel). My car is a 2002, but the ECU kit is from a 2003. The car still doesn’t start, and the security light on the cluster keeps flashing.
Do I need to change other components for it to work? If yes, which ones?
After doing this, will I need to still have my vin change on the new ecu to match my car?

For goodness sake, give us videos without dopey music attached!
Do you know what I have to replace for better downshafting?
What was the repair for, if i may ask?
