The owner of this 2016 Lexus LS460L drove 700 miles to our shop for diagnosis that turned out to be a missing bulb that their local Lexus dealership spent 2 weeks and couldn’t find it and replace it.

Great job. This video is amazing.
$3500 sounds like a whole used car to me. LOL
The idea of having a significant accident and then EVER getting such a car properly fixed is why I just buy ordinary Toyotas, don't get a lot of options, and drive them until they're unreliable. (For me, that's well over a decade). I have better things to spend a fortune on.
Based on my experience fixing a car with massive damage from a drunk driver accident, I feel sure that BOTH the missing bulb and the broken washer unit are likely from the accident, done by a shoddy body shop.
In my experience, pretty GOOD and honest body shops miss minor stuff or assemble minor stuff wrong. And that's if you provide them the detailed diagnosis book for the car.
No, the problem is greedy or incompetent management recruiting the wrong people and rewarding them for doing a shoddy job. Great video BTW.
No, what they did was charge him $200 for the phony examination that they really didn't do and told him they did
This is what happens when curiosity is killed for turnover.
I would be not be happy at all either. Should’ve mentioned the dealers name.
Hell no the bulbs and computer is and should be the first to check after checking the fuse that's crazy
Staggering story
Couldn't you have put it in your shop and turn the shop lights off to test the 'auto' headlight issue thatbonly happens at night rather than wait for actual nightfall and saved a lot of time waiting for natural darkness ?
To examine if infrared sources are working, I always view through an old Sony camcorder, with the nightshot switched on, and the infrared light is very bright, when working.
