Got a 2010 Lexus RX with 180,000 miles? Maybe a 2015 GS that doesn’t feel as smooth as it used to? Here’s the thing: your Lexus engine isn’t worn out. It’s just dirty. After working on luxury vehicles for two decades, I’ve discovered something most owners don’t realize. The difference between a Lexus that runs like new and one that feels tired isn’t usually about worn parts. It’s about contamination. Carbon buildup. Dirty sensors. Clogged systems. Degraded fluids. But here’s the good news: you can reverse most of this damage right in your driveway. Today, I’m sharing 12 simple maintenance steps that will restore your Lexus engine’s power, smoothness, and efficiency. Some take 5 minutes. Others might take an hour. But all of them will make your luxury car feel like the day you bought it. The last tip alone can improve your fuel economy by 15% and costs less than $50.

Lexus wanted $260 for an oil change, went to toyota and got one for $89.99.
all of these required maintainence tips are 100 percent bullshit, I have an Avalon change oil ever 5,000 miles drive it at highway speeds, 70-75 miles per hour it has the same acceration now as the day it was first placed on the road, change the oil and filter, cheek the tire pressure, check thre oil level on occasion. Change the air filters when necessary, when they are dirty. wash it, keep it clean and twice a year apply a " wax" of some kind. Tires will have to be replaced as required, same with brake pads, depending on you drive, also city or highway pads can last up to 160,000 miles, I know mine have lasted that long on several vehicles. Oil I used Walmart synthetic-10 years in my Town Car, thenin my genesis, switched to Costco, Costco in my avalon
They are not only direct injection. They are a combination of direct AND Port fuel injection.
Did you really show Auto Zone antifreeze?
2023 Lexus LS 500 with Less than 17,000 miles and the Alternator completely went out and left me stranded on the interstate. There were no type of warning light showing up on dash. No control of car whatsoever. Fortunately, was able to coast to the side of road. Roadside help finally showed up in about an hour and tested the battery and it was completely dead. After a new alternator was installed now the front end has a contineouse bumping noise while driving. Checking into this I discovered if any of the front end components were remove and not place back correctly could be the reason for the excessing noise. Is anybody familiar with if so please comment. Thanks
Gotta love how they showed someone adding diesel gasoline. Wow.
