Hey there Randy, you should really take the car to the car wizard in Kansas and like the car wizard figure it out and see if the car wizard can get it running better
Since the engine responds to unplugging the cam sensor, the wire to it must be carrying electricity, leads to a bad sensor. Also the map sensor can be cleaned, as well as inside the throttle body.
If that igniter goes out, you’re not gonna get it to fire up
Scan it now that the check engine light is flashing

Can’t you count the blinks of the CEL to see if that gave different reading than the misfire?
