Great video! I was able to follow along and fix the annoying issue of the blower operating only in high speed with this exact part from Atlantic British. Thank you for making these videos!

Hey guys,

Further to a comment up above, I’m just wondering if it could be the resistor if I have no power going to the blower motor I’ve disconnected the blower motor plugged it in directly to the battery. It works perfectly fine. I have the indicators on the blower LCD unit going from one to four if I turn it at one, there’s nothing if I turned all the way to high, there’s nothing as well. Could it be still be a faulty resistor even if you turned it on high and there’s no powering of the blower ?

@jagadishraob1332 says:

What is the part number LR31677 isn’t this also a blower motor resistor for the LR3

@vladicazekic9653 says:

sorry, I've been watching you for a long time on YouTube, could you tell me where the resistor is located on the land rover sport l494 2014bj, thank you

@SmithMundtModernization says:

Thanks! Completely unrelated but I have a microwave oven fan doing this. Should have 3 speeds but all 3 settings go to “high”.

@johnwindsor5239 says:

Do you have a video for LR2 resistor replacement

@JonTheGeek says:

Hi I'm currently in the middle of doing research on this, under my blower motor I have a blue and a white/pinkish that are just, rusted through and green. Any insight on what those do?

@cusp_of_prophecy says:

Just bought a D2 last year. AC was always blowing kinda rough making loud noise. Finally went out. AC compressor idler bearing was replaced, ended up burning out my AC compressor. Had that replaced. Now on to the Blower motor. Thank you so much for posting this. Definitely need to invest in some new tools because these are very tiny spaces where the bolts are.

Great video I’ve just change the resistor on a discovery 3 I have A discovery in Cyprus with no air-conditioning no blower at all I’ve tried everything so when I went back to the UK I ordered a resistor from Brits parts just changed it very easy to do everything is back up and running Aircon is lovely heaters lovely very easy to change once you drop the Glove box

@showrunner1230 says:

This is usually the part you need if your battery keeps dying (parasitic Draw) on your Range Rover l322.

@user-ch1vu8bk2k says:

I replaced the resistor and blower wheel and my settings won't allow me to change it from high. It will not work in any other setting thoughts?

@allenshakhmalian5746 says:

Questions,Does anyone know after changing this resistor do we have to reset anything? The reason that I’m asking is because I change the resistor and it didn’t work I took it to the dealer they changed the same resistor that I bought and it worked I asked them how come it works when they changed it obviously they didn’t answer me thank you

@Philupmycup81 says:

I have a question please it u can help me figure this out. So when I turn on mi heat in my 2006 Range Rover sport I’m only getting warm air thru one vent the rest is blowing cold air. Plz let me kno the problem thanks so much

@barbaofael says:

Is it the same to Discovery 1 300TDI?

@killsalive1 says:

How much would this cost?

@katabomar says:

My blower works, but I feel there is air escaping from the vents. when I change the air mode options on my climate control it doesn't make difference accept the air level works. Also my heater works just fine. Please advise thanks in advance

@mikefranke9702 says:

On my 2003 there are two copper colored strews two take out

@JUKE179r says:

I'm taking apart my Disco's blower motor to clean it out and relube the spindle. I didn't think about checking and cleaning the resistor's heat sink until I saw this video.
Cheers!

@brianlrrover3633 says:

Great video. Now my blower does not turn on at all. I've tested in and it worked and Ive tested the head unit and it works I also here the relays clicking down there when I turn on the head unit. If the Blower motor resister is blown that could cause it to not work at all correct?

@Shady-Shane says:

hi any idea my climate control heater works on my side rhd, but passenger side stays cold, fan blows great thanks for the videos p38

@jjt1093 says:

Great video, not sure if you made in on my request but awesome timing.
