In this week’s episode, we get our black Land Rover Discovery 4 — “Prince Mall Crawl” — ready for sale.
It’s a great car, a 3.0 L SDV6 HSE with only 150 000 km, but before we can pass it on to a new owner, a few repairs are needed.
The main problem: a clonking noise in the front suspension. We fix that by replacing the lower control-arm bushings, and the noise is gone! But during the test drive, we still notice some vibration in the steering wheel when braking — not good if you want to sell a luxury car. So, new brakes it is.
While we’re at it, we also do an oil change and replace some bulbs — not on Prince Mall Crawl this time, but on our “Prince Charming” Discovery 4.

Bei meinem 4er beim bremsen flattert es auch. Wenn ich härter bremse ist es kein flattern mehr sondern man merkt so ein leichtes ruckeln im Lenkrad. Aber dieses klakern hab ich nicht. Was könnte es bei mir sein ?

Quick question for you, my 2013 LR4's steering wheel control backlights do not work, although all the buttons and horn does as well.
I noticed at 0:51 your controls seem to be off too. Have you encountered this problem before? Do you know of a fix?

Thanks! But OMG I just bought Brembo pads and discs!! Why not this combo? Also, which diagnostics system are you using and can you recommend where to get the maintenance manual you use? I've had massive wobble under braking and have stripped down front discs and callipers and according to you the pins are in the wrong sliders and the pads resonator was leading not lagging!!!
