Thanks for this video. I had the gear selector stuck at the parking position, luckily when I was at home. Based on your video, I was able to remove the selector and fix it temporarily with a zip tie by following the instructions on this another video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=10w3QbM8br0 . JLR should have issued a recall for the gear selector as this is apparently a very common issue.
Nice, mine was not going into reverse or allowing me to rev, but not reversing. I have it at land rover, they are checking my transmission
