What a piece of crap car these things are!!! Crap faulty motors and crappy designed parts.
I watched this just to see if such a job was possible for me to attempt and the answer is yes it is. Thanks so much for filming the process and the additional tips.
Cant see broke part, and changed whole piece?
About to order my replacement regulator now. Thank you sir
Great video thanks. Any difference for the rear left? Only onvious thing I can see is mine does not have that Relay that you removed near the beginning.
Mine is the driver's side window, not sure if it's the relocator or the motor. it was blowing the fuse. Different people have worked on it now my mirrors will not adjust. Please Help
Your video is too fast and you jump around with info.
You talk too fast and no close up footage to accomplish this.
If my window went down but did not come back up, but it sounds like the motor is still working? would that be the regulator piece that you mention breaks easily?
Im trying to change the drivers door regulator, and i took the panel off. Where the cables connect to the door handle and the lock are in a case and i cannot figure out how to take the case off so i can take the cables out to get the regulator out. Any insight?
I couldn’t have fixed my wife’s car w/o this video. You’ve saved us a lot of money thank you so much!
Thank you so much. It's a hell of a job for someone who has never done something like this, but you got me through. Thanks again!!!
How long should this take to complete on average?
I have a 2017 Kia Sportage FE. Took everything off including the latch and handle but can't disengage the door cables to get the regulator off. Does anybody have a video or some insight how to disengage the cables. Also, thanks for the video. Wish I could see what you did for this.
Hi, thank you so much for posting. Can you point out where you drilled to keep the window? I am giving up replacing the regulators. I am up to all four windows going out
Did anyone else have trouble aligning the new regulator new regulator? The top middle portion is always bowing out a lot
Edit: installed and works great on the way down, but still slightly sluggish on the way up. Does anyone know why this might be?
Also, some of the teeth on the motor gear are worn. Can that be replaced?
Does the new regulator have a better quality nylon gear? Or is it a matter of time before you gotta do it again?
Be nice to know what way the cable goes on the pulleys
I have a 2017 Sportage I had to reclip the connection to the door latch but in doing so the cables that go into the regulator gear came out and I am having a hard time getting the cables respooled into the regulator gear! Any advice? I've already watched your video when you did the same repair on the optima but have had no luck yet!
great job just gotta pay close attention when u get out of camera view. Visual learners need to see close ups of thgose bolt detachments
I have a 2017 and the passenger side window won't go back up but you can hear the motor still working. Any advice?
