I personally always wanted the body/scale length/pickups of a Jazzmaster but with the cool metal switches and parts of the pickguard from the Jaguar- unfortunately, the shapes of Jaguars and Jazzmasters aren't quite identical so apparently it isn't as simple as routing a Jaguar pickguard for Jazzmaster pickups and putting it on a Jazzmaster body. It's something I'd like to attempt in the future though
