Thankyou! But I should empty the tank with a sipfon before removing the pump, just a piece of tube and a low bucket on the ground.

@UnknownUnrecognized says:

5:49 – did your car start after swaping the pump? On the old pump, wires are connected differently to the new pump. Old pump has floater connected to the short plug under the lid, then blue and white inside the tank connected at the fuel pump itself. New is different.

Thanks for the video. How do you disconnect the in-tank fuel line from the old pump?

@gethelpfindingyourdreamcar says:

Hi thanks for the video I have low pressure fuel and high pressure fuel codes p0087 p0088 and now my car won’t start if I remove the fuel lines off the fuel filter theirs no pressure their just a small dribble of fuel comes out. Would you say my low pressure fuel pump has gone

To anyone having the "Low Fuel" warning but fuel in tank problem. Snip and replace the 2 pin black connector with the black and blue wires. The connector somewhow degrades. I used a Deutsch connector.

Hi. I'm telling you what happened to me. I was driving on the motorway in Germany when at some point (engine fault) appeared on my dashboard, and after a few minutes, it went into limp mode, and the engine stopped. It was diagnosed at the service that the high-pressure pump needs to be replaced 0:01 . I searched the internet but found that it would be a problem with the tank fuel pump because we are talking about low pressure. What do you think? I need some advice as soon as possible. Hi, I've got an issue with the gauge readings not being accurate on my 2.2, usually sticking at around half full, so I'm guessing I need to replace the sender unit, do you know where I can find the part number for this?

@SonK4848 says:

Hello Sir, First of all, thank you very much for making these Jaguar videos as there is not a lot of data on these Jaguar XF & other cars. I just bought a Jag XF X250 2015 2.2 diesel, but now it's giving me a p0087 code, which means "Fuel Rail/System Pressure Too Low".

Any idea where to start diagnosis?
In tank fuel pump, diesel filter or high pressure fuel pump? Do these vehicles have fuel pressure regulator if so location of it might be helpful please?

Any guidance is appreciated 🙂

@princep9051 says:

Hi I change the fuel pump but unfortunately the pump working opposite. I don't know why. please let me know

@THA6reat1 says:

What was the problem with your car?

@DiarmuidMcNicholl says:

Hi Nick, need some advice after watching this video. My jaguar xf 2.2 x250 goes into limp mode and engine light comes on when the tank is quarter full and I accelerate. It can then be hard to start, but works fine again when I put more diesel in and the light goes away over night. I have changed the fuel filter. Would this pump be my problem?

@nanuhussain5007 says:

Great video and step by step guide. Does the Jaguar XF 2.2 diesel have the same fuel pump as the Jaguar XF 3.0?

@tylerlongo4336 says:

What size orings and what type did you use for the fuel lines that go into the top?

@ik4clf says:

hello, I'm having trouble locking the metal flange….any solutions or advice?

@johncarol4443 says:

Hi I have a 2013 2.2 xf when the fuel tank is full it leaks if I leave the car parked for a few hours you can see diesel on the road been told it could be the seal on the pump? Any suggestions
