Before watching your video I guessed the fronts would be super easy. What about the rear discs and dealing with the handbrake mechanism?

With respect, Jaguar spec says to fit new carrier bolts with thread lock on them. This is an important part of the carrier replacement..

Hi, could you elaborate as to how you retracted the piston. What were you levering the screwdriver against? The brake disc? Thanks.

I bought a set of new discs (Pagid) which I hope to install this Summer. The discs are coated wth a coating (paint?) which keeps the working surfaces free of rust until installation. Is it advisable to remove this coating before installation, or will it wear off by the pads during use? Will this coating contaminate the pads?
I ask because your discs seem to have the same coating.
Nice series of videos! Find the subjects on the XK (X150) useful.
