Don't you still need to address the leak?
Had this same issue with my 2009 XJ8 however mine were not leaking for years but had a very slow seepage leak at the transmission cooler line area same as pointed out in the video; however, it was leaving a very small amount of liquid on the garage floor. I replaced the full transmission lines with it being a 15 year old car I take excellent care of. That was $400 for parts and I did bring this one to my mechanic because the lines are a pain to get to at home. Total all in with labor was under $1000, not $68 for me. Oh well.
And did you address the source of the leak ?
I guess you'll find out the hard way that the ZF6HP26 requires a very specific transmission fluid and not regular ATF?
The fluid that came out, was LIGHT BROWN when it went in, not red.
Wasn’t S type Jaguars were ford based transitions and engines? Whereas the Jaguar supercharger cars were Jaguar engines and BW gearbox’s ?
Cant get over how slow they are even for there age, my wifes Camry is quiter more comfortable roomier and quicker and way more reliable! at a fraction of the cost and running costs, Jags never derved reputation for being good car, terrible bloody things, i would not have one again even if you tried to give it to me, extaticly happy with my 09 S class thankyou very much!
