This video shows you how to install new front shock & spring assemblies from TRQ on your 2003-2007 Infiniti G35. A shock and spring complete assembly simplifies installation. You don’t need to separate the spring from the shock absorber.

This repair was done on a 2005 INFINITI G35 X 3.5L Sedan 4-Door AWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2003 INFINITI G35
2004 INFINITI G35
2005 INFINITI G35

Do you need to get an alignment after replacing the front struts?

@chrisrhyno2051 says:

What is the arm called that the strut attaches to?

@lewokejames says:

Cheapest garbage pre assembled shock/strut assemblies. Kyb or Monroe for these cars (spring tool needed) or bc coilovers.

My strut looks nothing like that

@SeanPennII says:

Thank you for making a video on how to do it on the all-wheel drive. Nobody ever does.

@cryptocomplete says:

That year G35 does not have a pinch bolt on the bottom of the strut. It has a fork that attaches directly to the control arm. Could this be the difference between a G35 X and a G35 base model? This is definitely not the base model.
