How much to fix?
I will be tackling this job next week, Is it recommended to remove head and send to machine shop for calibration with new camshaft? im worried the new camshaft won't spin freely ,since cam journals are " worn" to original (broken cam)
I installed it new cam gear and when I rotate the engine it is making a slight noise at a center point while rotating. Is that normal?
Did you run low on oil at one point .This unloads the vvt gear and makes it bang back and forward that breaks the pin every time .
Can you get the broken dow out of the camshaft?
