Fog lights aim low to light up the road ahead when visibility conditions are foggy, rainy, and snowy. Unfortunately, they are also positioned low to the ground, putting them in harm’s way. If your light has become damaged, you can replace it with an engineered to fit TRQ part, and drive with confidence the next time bad weather strikes. This video shows you how to install a new TRQ fog light on your 1999-2007 GMC Sierra 1500.

Eddie Lane says:

It is not necessary to remove the fog lamp from the vehicle to change the bulb. All you have to do is disconnect the harness and twist the bulb mount and slide it through the circular portion that it sits in. The plastic portion that the bulb sits in has three tabs that you line up with the same size grooves in the round plastic portion that the bulb goes through and you slide it out after lining them up.

Hi! Thanks for the video, however I just wanted to state that you don’t actually have to take out the entire assembly, you can just simply replace the bulb while it’s in place! Just remove the cord and replace the bulb!
