These vehicles use a loop(amp clamp) type sensor on the negative battery ground wire to “read” the voltage. This sensor MUST BE USED when retaining the RVC charging system to allow proper charging and to keep your battery charge error light from staying on.
We also discuss the popular RVC Bypass option for those not wanting to deal with factory type voltage regulation.
