@willb5744 says:

Holy crap that’s so easy!

@johnnyturbo8460 says:

Does this have a familiar outcome as a shift kit or am I not understanding what it does exactly?

@davidhmurphy1619 says:

i noticed no trans fluid coming out when you removed the modulator. mine leaks alot of fluid when i remove the modulator(which i cant stop from leaking even with a new o ring.

@jefffrank8072 says:

@GJJC13 says:

My corvette 1978 automatic shifts hard from 1st to 2nd. Would this part help, since it is adjustable?

@dougyother6087 says:

I can't thank you enough bud.
I've spent two days on this subject looking everywhere on the interweb for somebody who had the exact information that you have. Of course I'm not going to go to any of the other sites because it's always in the last place you look …isn't it. You ever find yourself in Medford Oregon shoot me a jingle, cuz I owe you a cup of coffee, and two frustrating days of my life I'll never get back.
Thanx again.
Keep your powder dry!

@tonyg2859 says:

8 months after installing my hose it cracked where it fits over the flare in the hard-line. The hose has never come out of the garage (ha!), and I softened it up some with heat so it slipped right on. Perhaps it's just junk, but it came with the modulator from a reputable shop who built my transmission.

@richardware3729 says:

Great information solved my problem

@quetzalcoatul1 says:

Well what direction you turn set screw to shift faster or softer?

@x._.s.m says:

Im trying to get this old 305 running, the car lacks in power and is hesitant to drive but does drive and has abit of a hard shift, ive upgrades the intake, carb, open headers, and distributor. Is the vacuum modulator the reason for my trans problems, it starts fine, idles but doesnt drop rpm when i put it into drive like it should. If anyone sees this any help is appreciated

@ghtrcp7554 says:

The only point he did not say is which way to turn for hard or soft shifting … we are all here to learn that.. Can anyone tell?

@hugieflhr03 says:

Which way do you turn the screw for later shifts? Mine shifts way too early.

@draculinapublishing1508 says:

My TH350 goes into gear when I first start it but then it loses it. I can put it in any gear and it won't engage. When I shut the car off and restart it it will go into gear again. Would this have anything to do with a bad modulator? Just started doing this suddenly, went on a 100 mile trip the day before and it ran fine.

5 Stars !!!!!! Thank you !!!!!! John
