This is a quick video where I show you just how easy it is to install door springs on a 88-98 OBS Chevy truck, using a Door Spring Compressor Dool. This is probably similar to a o lot of other makes and models. I’ve seen a bunch of ways showing you how to do with using a C clamp or a vice, but they are kind of sketchy.

Does the spring only work if the roller pin is in there
I used that tool and it's such a piece of shit that the spring force alone bent it. Seems this is common looking at the reviews.
That tool is crap I broke of them trying to compress those springs
putting it in the correct place helped i gave up , now maybe ,thanks big help
