Replace rear motor mount on Ford Escape 2.5L | 2009 – 2012

Replace rear motor mount on Ford Escape 2.5L | 2009 – 2012

The video shows how to remove and reinstall the rear engine support mount (also known as Transaxle Rear Support Insulator) on the following 2nd generation Ford Escape vehicles equipped with a 2.5L FWD engine .

2008 Ford Escape
2009 Ford Escape
2010 Ford Escape
2011 Ford Escape
2012 Ford Escape

I replaced the 15-year-old factory-installed rear engine mount because of vibrations and a clunking noise. I noticed the clunking sound when shifting from Park to Reverse and then to Drive. Please note that it is recommended to replace the front engine mount at the same time as the rear mount.
