Just Two Knobs changing a Gear Knob.
DIY and replace the old crumbling old FORD OE Gear knob. Common issue on Ecosport, Figo and Figo Aspire models. The original replacement knob costs 3500+ INR and a similar model aftermarket unit costs ~1700/- range. but both will disintegrate like same after a few years of use. So we decided to upgrade the gear knob to a Sparco Techno unit DIY, Driven by JOY MRC style.
The replacement procedure is common to most ford cars and other brands as well.

How can we manage gear levers where we have additional steps for reverse gear?
Where can I buy this same Sparco model? Will it fit in an automatic car like City CVT?
Really useful. It was great you could reuse the old boot. Saves money and reduces unnecessary waste as well . Most ford cars have this issue. What maybe the reason for the knob to break like this?
